I just wanted to report that
some important items were
Stolen from Camp Ozone
sometime between when we
closed up in the fall and
when we arrived yesterday.
These were not things that
would have much value to the
average person. One thing
was a clamshell that weighed
over 100 pounds that has been
in our family for generations.
My grandmother shipped it
over from Australia to my
mother in Philadelphia in
the ‘60s so it has a lot of
meaning for my family, but
I’m not sure why anyone else
would be interested in it.
it was up on our mantelpiece
so it would not have been
easy to lift and move.
also my father‘s typewriter
is missing. So these are two
iconic items from my
parents history. We just
wanted to let everyone know
and see if this has happened
at any other camps, and if
anyone has seen anything
suspicious or heard about
anything related. I just
discovered this so I am now
looking for photographs
from the fall to see what
else might be missing.
