Hello and Welcome to Summer 2025.
The Guest Beach will be opening this weekend on Saturday, June 14th. As a result, the main gate on the Upper Lake Road (aka North Pond Road) will remain open. The guest beach will be open Wednesdays & Fridays, 3:00 – 6:30 and Saturdays & Sundays, 12 – 6:30. During open hours, the Guest Beach gate will be monitored by our Gatekeeper, Glen Chappell. Glen has been visiting and enjoying Mt Riga for most of his life and is thrilled to be part of our community. Part of his duties will be to confirm that all guests have passes, remind guests of our protocols for protecting our lakes, and ensure that everyone who visits respects and enjoys our beautiful lake and our privacy. Glen will be spending most of his time down towards the beach so don’t be alarmed if you don’t see him from the road, and feel free to come down and introduce yourself.
The Guest Beach Gate will be closed and padlocked at all times except for open hours. Please keep alert and report any suspicious activity.
